In addition to selling to individual people, I enjoy working for brands or business owner in the form of a project or collaboration.
Below you will find some examples of collaboration carried out in Dubai. Do not hesitate to contact me for any information.
Concept store | Flowers | Coffee
Jumeirah 2 - Dubai - UAE
Who is Villa Margot ?
La Villa is a beautiful concept store, florist and café in Dubai.
What is the need ?
Unique pieces for the concept store and the creation of personalized French tableware for the Villa Margot café.
What can Jou do for them?
This is how I created a whole range of personalized tableware, plates, cups, napkin holders, etc. for Villa Margot Coffee. For more than a year, customers of Villa Margot in Dubai have been able to buy my pieces in the concept store and on top of that, enjoy a pastry or taste a coffee all in handmade ceramic tableware, made in Dubai, created by me and designed specifically for Villa Margot.
How I realized this project ?
Whether it is the pieces for sale in the concept store or the pieces created specifically for the coffee, I take care to respect the soul of the place and I adapt my creativity to maintain consistency and meet the expectations of Villa Margot’s customers. Understand and feel the senses of the place to create objects in their image.
Who is Sonara Camp ?
Sonara camp is a high-end, authentic, elegant and eco-friendly camp located in a remarkable conservation area in the Dubai desert, which receives a lot of tourists.
What is the need ?
For the Sonara camp shop camp in the middle of the Dubai desert.
What can Jou do for them?
Their clientele is mainly made up of tourists, who are looking for souvenir gifts from their visit to the Dubai desert. For a high-end clientele, what could be better than offering artisanal pieces handmade in Dubai. So, I proposed a variation of my iconic pieces “Habibi” and “Palm Tree”, whose design recalls the desert. The shape of these pieces is also easily transportable to the desert but also to be placed in a suitcase for the return ! Given access to the camp, I take care to carefully package each piece so as not to break them during transport !
How I realized this project ?
I use white clay, and I shape each piece by hand. Then, I draw the various validated decorations using underglaze. Each piece is handmade by me.
Who is Sushiart ?
Sushiart is a famous chain of Japanese restaurants in the UAE.
What is the need ?
To celebrate their 10th anniversary in the UAE, Sushiart planned a gift box for their best customers and partners in the UAE. They wanted to have 3 different ceramic pieces made locally and in an artisanal way to thank their best customers. They needed 900 pieces in a few months !
We discussed the type of pieces, as well as the technical characteristics: addition of the Sushiart logo on the pieces, pieces with Japanese tones to remind them of their universe, choice of land, etc…We therefore agreed that I would make 3 ceramic pieces for their box: a tea cup, a chopstick rest, a ramekin of soy sauce.
What can Jou do for them ?
Here I am launching into this series ! I did everything by hand, alone for several weeks… It was an exciting and stressful adventure at the same time, but I did it !
How I realized this project ?
I used handbuilding and the wheel to create the different pieces. All the pieces are made with the white speckles clay which reveals pigments during the last firing. This clay perfectly recalled the Japanese universe that we were looking for…

Charmed by my universe, the founders asked me to create a “Jou collection” for their beauty salon and Hammam. We also developed a The Moors x Jou collaboration for their concept store.
How I realized this project ?
I used different techniques, handmade, by the wheel, underglazes, glazes of different colors… A wide range of pieces and colors that recall the softness and beauty of Morocco. This collection is made up of dishes, vases, candlesticks, incense holders…
Who is Cartier ?
Cartier is a French luxury goods brand founded in 1847 by Louis-François Cartier. The company creates high-end jewelry, bags, perfumes, watches and other accessories.
What is the need ?
One of Cartier’s business units was looking to offer a gift to its employees as part of the 2024 seminar.
What can Jou do for them?
The teams who contacted me were looking for a unique gift, handmade, by a French woman but with a “Dubaiote” touch. They had seen the “HABIBI” mugs on my Instagram page.
How I realized this project ?
The challenge of this project lay in the deadline and not in the volume of parts. Here, I had 15 days maximum to make 25 “HABIBI” mugs, and what added a little adrenaline was that I was in the middle of moving ! I also had to stamp “People Seminar 2024” on the bottom of the mug which made me work differently than usual in handling my pieces. This was my last professional project before leaving Dubai since I delivered the parts 2 days before leaving! I am proud to have concluded this first chapter of my professional reconversion by carrying out a project for such a prestigious brand.
